Laura Martin has broad transactional real estate experience representing and advising clients in single-asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions of industrial, storage, development, multifamily and office property types, for deals ranging up to $700 million, as well as representing and advising landlord and tenant clients in connection with leasing of health science, office, industrial and retail properties, for premises ranging over 400,000 square feet.

Laura’s experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and related documents, managing all aspects of closings and conducting due diligence (title, survey, zoning, and CC&R review) and drafting and negotiating lease agreements, amendments, terminations, sale leasebacks, listing agreements, landlord consents, estoppels and SNDAs.

Laura also has a passion for pro bono work and has worked with pro bono clients in the leasing of commercial and industrial spaces and in landlord/tenant dispute matters.

Recent Representations

• Representation of an institutional investor in the acquisition of a 250,000 square foot, two parcel property consisting of both an office building and a raw land parcel for a purchase price of approximately $35 million.

• Representation of a large developer and investor in connection with a build to suit industrial lease for a 350,000 square foot property with a purchase option.

• Representation of a large health care conglomerate in a variety of commercial leasing endeavors for lab and office assets.

• Representation of a large intuitional investor in connection with an approximately $700 million dollar loan refinance covering approximately 150 industrial properties.
