On May 12, 2021, Rachel Holloway, along with the Office of the General Counsel at First Republic Bank, presented “Ground Lease Basics and Overview of Ground Lease Financing” to the business and legal teams at First Republic Bank. Over 500 attendees obtained an in-depth analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of financing a ground lease along with important considerations and issues related to lending on a leasehold estate.
